SWM is a big issue now-a-day. Being our National Mandate, and commitment towards Clean City and our Zero Waste Drive, we had organized a conclave on SWM on 22nd February 2020 at Sarat Sadan, Howrah in association with HMC. We were grace to have with us Sri Arup Rai, Hon’ble Minister-in-Charge, Co-operation Department, Govt of West Bengal, Sri L N Shukla, Hon’ble Minister-in-Charge, Youth and Sports, Department, Govt of West Bengal, DM Howrah, Ex-Dy Mayor, Councilors, Principal Secretary Urban Dept, Chairman PCB, Commissioner HMC, Dy Commissioner HMC, SWM Dept, HMC, Commissioner HCP and various other dignitaries. There were also some Competition programs organized, and we had enabled to Exchange Letter of Acceptance with …. RWAs of the District who understood the need of SWM and came forward generously to accept to follow SWM Rules. Green Volunteers from different Schools also participated in the Event. Further, we just as a token of appreciation, had awarded three nominated Conservancy Employee of HMC by a cheque of Rs 5,000/- each.
